Indian Institute of Technology-Gorakhpur emerged as the winner of the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) organized by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham at its Amritapuri campus. In the global competition, IIT Roorkee and IIT Delhi secured the second and third positions after a tough two-day competition.
The inaugural ceremony featured keynote speakers including Veronika Soboleva (ICPC Global Foundation Development Director), Jaidevitya Kemani (JetBrains Development Advocate), Dr. Rajan and Dr. Premium Nedungadi. Open to any student with a passion for coding, the ICPC challenges teams of three from higher education institutions around the world to solve complex algorithmic problems within a strict time frame.
