The Indian Institute of Natural Science and Research (Iiser) in Tirupati will perform an Iiser Aptitude test (IAT) for candidates looking for admission to their courses. Online applications were open from March 10 and will be closed by April 15.
Isisers are established with the aim of promoting science education and encourage innovations to manage the country. In India there are seven Iisers offered by the flagship B.Sc., M.Sc. Biology, chemistry, land and climate science, mathematics, humanities and physics, except for PhD and integrated PhD.
IAT consists of 60 questions, each of biology, chemistry, mathematics and physics. The total time to answer the test will be 180 minutes. After the results are announced, it will consult in July and August, where seven Iisers will select students based on their selection.
Using regional languages to address students and their parents, who come from various social and regional background, Iiser Tirupati performed webinars in Panjab, Kashmir, Odia, Marathi, Asomiya, while more such events in Gujarati, Hindi and English are planned soon.
