
Laboratory for Venturing and EntrePreneurship (LIVE), Business Incubator of the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK), in cooperation with the mission Kudumbasree, began an initiative called “Smartshree” on Friday.
The aim of the program is to support and modify 150 micro -trains led by volunteer entrepreneurs Kudumbashree throughout the state through structured capacities, intensive mentoring and institutional support, the press release said.
As part of the Smartshree initiative, IIMK-Vive will provide selected entrepreneurs a structured incubation program, which includes in-depth enterprise diagnostics, adapted to business mentoring, practical seminars for building capacities and focused connections to market links.
The main guest was the district collector Snehil Kumar Singh. Prof. Ashutosh Sarkar, Executive Director, IIMK-Vive and PC Kavitha, Coordinator of the District Mission, Kudumbashree.
On this occasion, Mr. Singh stressed Keral’s unique position as a welfare state. “Initiatives like Smartshree are essential for larger and better thanks to business,” he said.
“Smartshree” represents a transformative cooperation between the robust business ecosystem IIMK-Vive and the extensive network of Kudumbashree. This initiative is designed to catalyze sustainable growth, increase local living and support the culture of innovation and business among women in Kerala.
Debashis Chatterjee, Director, Iim-K, said that the authorization of local levels was not only an economic reform, but a social transformation.
