The Indian Institute of Management-Tiruchi (IIM-T) has received the prestigious Institutional Excellence Award 2025 from Project Management Associates India (PMA India), the Indian member association of the International Project Management Association (IPMA).
According to an official press release, the award was presented at the IPMA Global Project Profession Forum 2026 held in Chennai recently.
Satish S. Maheswarappa, Dean (Academics), received the award on behalf of the institute from IT and Digital Services Minister Palanivel Thiaga Rajan. Senior officials of IPMA, PMA India and other dignitaries were present.
The award recognizes institutions that demonstrate a sustained commitment to advancing the discipline and practice of project management through academic rigor, industry involvement, and professional certification outcomes.
The institute consistently integrates conceptual foundations with applied learning and equips students with globally benchmarked project management competencies.
In a move to strengthen specialized infrastructure capacity, IIM-T has inaugurated a Post Graduate Certificate Program in Advanced Infrastructure Project Management.
