The Indian Institute of Management-Kozhikode (IIM-K) launched the Gyanodaya Center for Educational Innovation and Publishing, the first initiative to be built to build a pulsating, inclusive and globally relevant knowledge ecosystem.
Director of IIM-K Debashis Chatterjee, who announced this latest Center of Excellence (COE), said: “The future of education lies not only in providing knowledge, but also in reimaging, as created, contextualized and shared.”
“Gyanodaya is a jump of Iim-K to this future. It has introduced itself as COE under the Iim-K” Vision 2047 “and is in line with the aspirations of Indian National Educational Policy (NEP), the aim is to become cups for top pedagogical, and publishing excellence and knowledge based on Indian and global best practices,” he added.
Professor Atan Adhikari, the founding boss of Gyanodaya, said: “Gyanodaya is based on the principles of pedagogical excellence, global relevance and sharing indigenous knowledge.
Gyanodaya solves immediate and long -term academic needs. In the short term, it focuses on the development and dissemination of reviewed content, including case studies, simulations, monographs, books and research remarks. The aim of the center is to become a global center for educational innovations over time, to support cooperation between institutions, faculties and practicing around the world.
The center has already started strongly – more than 30 original case studies have been published, accompanied by detailed teaching notes, bridging disciplines from marketing and finance to humanities and liberal art.
To maintain academic integrity and efficiency of publishing, the Panddulipi Center, the home platform for manuscripts developed by the home team IIM-K operates. The platform facilitates trouble -free administration and includes a three -stage system of mutual evaluation, with reviewers elected both for the expertise of the domain and for pedagogical insight.
