
IIM-K LIVE, Business Incubator of the Indian Institute for Administration-Kozhikode (IIM-K), in cooperation with Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) approved 1.8 Crore in seed financing for six promising start-ups under Ushus Initiative, India’s Shart-up Support Scheme.
Six start -ups selected for financing is WROXAI PVT. Ltd., Coimbatore; Hyetron Energy Pvt. Ltd., Chennai; Eydelta pvt. Ltd., Bihar; XTENT Innovation pvt. Ltd., Calicut; MAFKIN ROBOTICS PVT. Ltd., Jaipur and Xera Robotics Pvt. Ltd., Chennai, a press release stated here on Monday.
In this round, a total of 4.4 CRORE 4.4 GBP was sanctioned under the Ushus program to support 14 start -ups, of which 2.1 GBP Crore has already been paid to eight start -ups.
The ceremony of seed financing took place in the presence of higher representatives of CSL and IIM-K LIVE, including prof. Ashutosh Sarkar, Executive Director of IIM-K Live and Dr. Krishna Prasad S.
Prof. Debashis Chatterjee, chairman of the chairman of IIM-K Live and director of IIM-K, express the pleasure of development, said: “We believe that Indian maritime heritage must be reimaginated through business innovation. Ushus is an example of how platforms can co-create young businesses and potential.”
Madhu S. Nair, Chairman and CEO of CSL, said: “So far, Ushus CSL has created more than 70 highly qualified job opportunities for talented young professionals and plays an important role in the indigenization scalable Sunrise technology.”
The joint initiative of IIM-K LIVE and CSL, Ushus has started to support the ecosystem friendly for innovations in the Indian maritime sector.
