IIIT-B, TCA sign LoI to deepen technical cooperation

The International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore and the Taipei Computer Association (TCA) have signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) at Electronica India 2026 to strengthen cooperation between Taiwan and Karnataka in technology, innovation and digital economy.

International Institute of Information Technology – Bangalore (IIIT-B) and Taipei Computer Association (TCA) signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) at Electronica India 2026 to strengthen cooperation between Taiwan and Karnataka in the fields of technology, innovation and digital economy.

The LOI records the intention of both organizations to work on a future Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) covering cooperation in Information and Communication Technology (ICT), digital economy, science and technology and innovation.

Under the LOI, IIIT-B and TCA will explore joint initiatives across key technology domains, including artificial intelligence, electronics, smart manufacturing, smart cities and cyber security. Proposed areas of cooperation include knowledge sharing, policy dialogues, business networking, seminars and conferences, and bilateral exchange of delegations to strengthen closer institutional and industrial ties between Taiwan and Karnataka.
