
The MEPRU district has shown to improve its evaluation in the results of II PU announced on Tuesday and from the 17th year. However, the total percentage of the passage decreased – 83.13 in 2023 to 74.3 in 2024.
Of the 31,610 students who appeared this year, 23,485 passed.
“Our district has risen by five positions despite a decline in the percentage of the passage. This is due to the general decrease in the average of the state this year,” said Mariswamy, Deputy Director before the University Education.
“Our teachers have worked hard to ensure good results. We analyze performance and take remedial steps to improve the next year,” he said.
The percentage of the passage was the highest in the scientific stream, with 81.95. Of the 13,875 students who appeared for the exam, 11,364 cleaned. In the trading current, 10,941 candidates appeared for the exam, of which 8 206 were cleaned by the percentage of the passage of 75. The number of students appeared from the stream of art was 6 794, of which 3,915 tests cleaned the exams, while the percentage of the passage reached 57.62.
Like every year, the performance of girls in the rehearsal was excellent. Of the 18,491 girls, 14 323 with a result of 77.46%. A total of 9 635 boys out of 15,733 went with a result of 61.24%.
Toppers in Science and Commerce
S 594 Mark Z 600 SE Anagha S. Karnis of Svic Jnanodaya Pu College, Msur and Sangeeth S. of Adichunchanagiri College, Msur, became district toppers in the scientific stream.

In the business stream, Tejaswini has a second rank in the state with 598 stamps. Dhatri G., Student Sadvidya Semi Residential PU College, recorded 596 stamps and found a place among the top five state holders. Harshini K. of Sri Bgs Girls Pu College won 594 stamps. Amogh BP from Nalanda International PU College, Disha G. from St. Joseph’s Pu College and Niranjan BV Maharshi Composite Pu College have received 592 stamps.
In Arts Stream, Bi. Bi. Ameena of St. Philomena’s Pu College, Mysur, is a district topper, scoring 584 stamps.
