
US President Donald Trump said the United States and China would have a strong relationship. He acknowledged that both countries had a lever effect and said the US had “incredible cards”, but rather does not use them because it would “destroy China”.

He noted: “We will have a great relationship with China … have some cards. We have incredible cards but I don’t want to play these cards. If I played these cards, it would destroy China. I won’t play these cards.”
Trump’s Administration recently softened its previously confrontational attitude to Beijing in an effort to secure the summit with President XI and complete the business agreement. Foreign Minister Marco Rubio indicated that the meeting between these two leaders is likely, although no date was confirmed.
Previously, Trump extended the freezing of elevated tariffs to Chinese imports for the next 90 days and moved it to the beginning of November, a decision that helped relieve tensions and stabilize business relations between the two largest economies in the world.

Trump expressed hope that China would significantly increase its purchases of American soybeans. However, China still has to buy any shipments from the upcoming harvest that starts in September.
Visit to Lee Korea in the US
According to Lee’s office, they talked to Trump about the construction of ships and attempts at the assassination that both survived.
