On Sunday, the Tripur’s Gomatics appeared an unpleasant situation after suspicious miscreants vandalized idols in the Durga Puja community. The police excluded conspiracy to stimulate the riots and made sure that the situation remained peaceful with reasonable security.
The incident occurred in Brahmabari in Udaipur, at the Gomati district, in the early hours. The locals found that the idols of the deities were damaged.
SK. Gomati District Superintendent of Police Kiran Kumar K. together with higher officers. “The police are investigating the incident and the culprits will be brought to justice,” he said.
The officers noted that the CCTV cameras were not installed at the place of the Puja, although their installation was mandatory for the Durga community.
The annual Durga Puja, the largest social and religious festival of Tripura, is currently undergoing celebrations throughout the state. The regulation of traffic and supervisory units of the police was deployed to drive vehicles and prevent lack of undesirable incidents.
Police CEO warned that strict steps would be taken against violations of noise pollution, including the use of DJs and high -volume sound systems in the place.
