Panchaloha idols of Rama, Lakshmana, Sita and Hanuman were stolen from Ayodhya Sreerama Paduka Temple in Ayyapuram, near Government Victoria College, here. The theft is believed to have occurred on Monday evening.
A thief broke into the temple by breaking the tiled roof. However, the centuries-old idol of Sreeram Paduka remained untouched. The police have launched an investigation.
