On Thursday, the initiative of Mysuru Yaduveer Krishhnadatt Chamaraja Wadiyar, an initiative of MEPsura Yaduveer Krishhnadatt Chamaraja Wadiyar, was launched here.
The aim of the initiative, described as a “for people and people” movement, is to introduce Mysur again as a smarter, greener, cleaner and more inclusive city. Citizens are invited to present fresh and innovative ideas in key industries such as infrastructure, sustainability, heritage protection, electronic administration and youth authorization.
Applications can be sent online between August 22 and September 15, 2025. Each item must contain a statement of the problem, the proposed solution and the estimated budget, the press release said.
The panel of experts will evaluate the submission and the best ideas will be presented on September 20 in the presence of Mr. Yadveer, representatives of industry and district officials. Selected ideas will also be considered for implementation in the city, he added.
In order to support participation, the winners will be awarded the cash price. Speaking of this initiative, the organizers emphasized that it is not only politics, but also progress driven by people: “Where politics meets people and citizens, they form the fate of their city.”
Ideathon is part of the National Vision ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’. The organizers calling on students, entrepreneurs, non -governmental organizations and Citizens of Mysuru said: “We will move from the vision to the Mysuru 2030.”
