
Indian Captain SHUBMAN GILL broke into the TOP 10 ICC Men’s Test Batting Ranting after its record performance in the second Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy test against England. Gill jumped up by 15 seats to reach No. 6 is the best position in the test cricket.
Meanwhile, English Harry Brook rose to the top of the ranking and moved former captain Joe Root to become the new world No. 1.
Gill created a history in Birmingham by becoming the first ever body Scores of double and 150 or more scores in the same test match. In the first shifts he broke 269, followed by 161 in the second on a flat playground. India has accumulated more than 1000 runs in the match and continued to Thush England by 336 runs, thus dominating the 1-1 series.
