The International Criket Council (ICC) is considering a major change in ODI cricket that could bring a balance between BAT and Ball. The ICC cricket committee, led by former Indian captain Sourava Ganguly, recommended canceling the long-term two rule of the new ball in 50-over matches, which could significantly change the dynamics of the format.
The recommendation, which will be discussed by the board of the ICC on Sunday in Harare, suggests a return to the use of a single white Kookaburra ball in ODIS. The rule of the two balls, which was introduced ten years ago, allows the pitchers to use a separate new ball from each end, keeps the ball hard longer and facilitates launching-especially with only four Polnice allowed outside the 30-yard circle for most shifts.

The rule has been widely criticized for removing the reverse fluctuations from the game, because the balls are not worn enough to help sailors. It was also difficult to grasp and turn a harder ball. Even Sachin Tendulkar’s legend tap expressed concern about the imbalance she creates.
