The Clerk of the Intelligence Office (IB) was on Tuesday afternoon among 26 people killed in a brutal terrorist attack in Pahalgam Jammu and Kashmir.
Manish Ranjan, a segment official, was killed in the attack, informed PTI and quoted resources.
Manish Ranjan of Bihar, who worked as an official in the IB office in Hyderabad, died in a terrorist attack, they said.

While he was shot in the head, his wife and their two children survived the attack.
Meanwhile, an Indian maritime officer was also killed in a cowardly terrorist attack.
Lieutenant Vinay Narwal (26) was on vacation and April 16 got married and was on holiday.
“One Indian Navy officer, Lieutenant Vinay Narwal (at the age of 26), who was sent in Kochi, was killed in the attack of Pahalgam when he was on vacation. He is a native of Haryana and married April 16,” he said.
Meanwhile, the police and Jammu and Kashmir launched a search operation in the general area of Baisran, Pahalgam, Anantnag to charge the perpetrator of the attack.
Candles were organized in several places in Jammu and Kashmir by local people against a terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam.

Amit Shah Chair at a high level of safety meeting
The Minister of the Interior of the Union Amit Shah chaired a meeting with all agencies at a high level after the evening reached Srinagar at the Security Security meeting.
