The Indian Air Force (IAF) celebrated its 93th anniversary on Tuesday (October 7, 2025). The anniversary of the ceremonial show at the Hindon Air Force station and introduced its heritage, surgical power and commitment to innovation.
The event was attended by Chief of Defense Anil Chauhan, Army and Maritime Staff Chiefs, while the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS) of the Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh reviewed. Former aviation chiefs and higher officers were also present.
President Droucadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi expanded greetings on the occasion through social media platforms.
The proceedings began by marching the President’s colors, symbolizing unity and courage. When CAS arrived, three Mi-17 helicopters flew over their heads in the “Dhwai” formation and carried the National Flag, the IAF flag and the Sindoor Flag operation. The show was ordered by the captain of the Chetan Pradeep Deshpande group.
Air Force Band was a march, followed by the Air Warrior drill team. During the Air Marshal Singh Felicited 97 Air Warriors, the head of Air Marshal Singh Felicited 97 Air Warriors and submitted six citation units for exceptional service.
Given the way of IAF, which thought about the IAF chief, said that Chief Airshal Singh said that the strength has grown from “modest beginnings” to become the fourth largest air force in the world, capable of influenced the results of “speed and accuracy”. The Heritage flight was carried out by the Tiger MOTH, HT-2 and Harvard aircraft display, symbolizing the development of IAF over the decades.
Static display Frontline ACTIVITIES RAFALE, SU-30MKI, APACHE, MIG-29, C-17 Globemaster, C-130J Super Hercules and Akash Missile System are overlapping the modernization unit IAF.
The traditional FlyPast display and the aviation antenna will take place in Guwahati 9 November, which means the culmination of this year’s Air Force Day celebrations.
