On Friday, the head of the Air Staff, Chief of Air Marshal AP Singh, emphasized the obligation of the Indian Air Force (IAF) to self-confidence and underlined the indigenization efforts through development projects such as advanced medium combat aircraft (AMCA) and LCA MK-II.
The head of IAF made these notes on the festive valedictory function of the 47th flight test course of the IAF test pilot on Aircraft and Systems testing (ASTE) in Bengalur.
In his address, Chief Chief of Air Marshal Singh, he emphasized the essential role of test flying as a specialized domain, which requires the highest standards of professional competences, integrity and service determination.
He also called on graduation officers to follow the basic values of accuracy and perfection.
He graduated from graduates certificates together with the trophies to merit officers and during this demanding and specialized course recognized their exceptional performance.
The flight test course is known for strict training for 48 weeks and is the cornerstone to build the ability to test the nation’s flight for top air platforms and systems.
Trophy Suranjan Das Trophy, for the best versatile student test pilot, was awarded to the leader of the Bhardwaj squadron, while the head of the Air Staff Trophy trophy was awarded the Squadron Ajay Tripathi for the best student.
Maharaja Hanumanth Singh Sword, for the best versatile student test engineer, was awarded the leader of the Subhrajoti Paul squadron.
Dunlop Trophy, for the best student test engineer in the flight evaluation, was awarded to the commander of the wing Ashwini Singh and the Bhargava Trophy chapel was awarded to Major Kaustubh Kunte for the best student in the terrestrial objects.
