Rajasthan Royals opener Vaibhav Sooryavanshi pranked two young fans at the airport and told them he would charge Rs 100 for a photo. RR shared this video on their social media platforms as the 15-year-old continues to garner attention during IPL 2026.
In the clip, the two children approach Sooryavanshi for a photograph. He doesn’t turn them down, but tells them he won’t pose for free.
“Brother, I’m taking money. I’m telling you right now honestly, brother. I’ll take Rs 100,” Sooryavanshi says in the video.
The fans then return with Rs 200 to take pictures with him before Sooryavanshi breaks character and tells them that it was part of a prank. He then poses with them for a few photos.

The moment off the field came in the midst of a strong run for Sooryavanshi in IPL 2026. In RR’s recent match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, he scored his second IPL set off 36 balls, the third fastest in the competition’s history.
The innings also received praise from SRH captain Pat Cumminswho said he was impressed by the teenager’s batting.
“I think he’s my new favorite player. He hits the ball so hard, it’s great to watch. It’s good fun,” Cummins said.
“As a pitcher, you’ve got to be right on the money. If you’re not, it goes a long way. It’s impressive. He’s had a great start to his career, and yeah, I like the way he’s playing. He’s still playing.”
Sooryavanshi has scored 357 runs in eight matches so far at an average of 44.63 and a strike rate of 234.87. He has smashed 31 boundaries and 32 sixes this season. He will next be in action for RR when they take on PBKS in Mullanpur on April 28.
