Content creator Ramit Verma, known by his online name PeeingHumanrevealed his face for the first time in 11 years after sustaining a head injury during the Cockroach Janta Party’s (CJP) ‘Chalo Sansad’ protest in Delhi on Monday.
Videos shared on social media showed Verma bleeding from the head after he was allegedly hit by police during the demonstration. Organized over alleged irregularities in the NEET examination, the protest turned chaotic as thousands of CJP supporters gathered near Parliament on the opening day of the monsoon session.
According to images from the protest, police used tear gas shells and batons to disperse the protesters, while the main protest stage at Jantar Mantar was dismantled later in the day.

After the incident, Verma posted a video on X showing blood running down his face.
“I never thought my face would be exposed like this after 11 years of content creation. But it was worth it,” he wrote.
In another clip, he pressed a blood-soaked cloth over his head, pointed to his jaw and said:
“The stick can still be seen after the blood is spilled.

He claims he was hit from behind
Later in the evening, despite his injuries, Verma returned to the protest site and appeared in a street interview with journalist Shyam Meera Singh, describing what he said had happened.
“(attacked me). I had to take two steps to the ghost and I could hear him ‘banging’ my head from behind. The policeman hit me on the head from behind. The strange thing is that he already hit me on the head 5-7 minutes ago. Even after 5-7 minutes, when the policeman still saw that I was covered in blood, he still did not hit me on the head. Shyam Meera Singh described Verma as one of the pioneering YouTube creators in India and criticized the alleged use of force against him.
Verma also questioned the police crackdown on the protesters, saying:
“Bajrang Dal is going ahead, so you probably don’t know because you never take any weapons. You only have sticks in your hand, you have swords. You have no weapons in your hand. You have roses in your hand, you don’t know a book in your hand. You eat here, you only have a phone in your hand. Maybe that’s why you know. ‘It will happen.’
The Delhi Police has not publicly responded to Verma’s specific allegations.

What sparked the protest?
The CJP organized a ‘Chalo Sansad’ march to demand accountability for alleged irregularities in the NEET examination and the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
The party said the protesters began the march peacefully, carrying flowers for police personnel in line with its call for a non-violent demonstration. The situation, she claimed, escalated after the police decided to disperse the crowd with tear gas and batons.
Later in the day, CJP chief spokesperson Saurav Das said party leaders met Union Health Minister JP Nadda and presented three demands: immediate release of activist Sonam Wangchuk, resignation or removal of Dharmendra Pradhan and ₹1 crore compensation to the families of over 20 NEET aspirants who the party claimed lost their lives.
“The protest will continue until his (Dharmendra Pradhan’s) resignation is secured,” Das told ANI.
