The Minister of Agriculture of the Union Shivraj Singh Chouhan said on Tuesday that he “never thought” about the possibility of becoming the next National President of BJP and that it focuses only on increasing agricultural production and revenue of farmers in the country.
Meeting with the Chief of RSS
Mr. Chouhan’s answer came up with questions about his reported meeting with Chief Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Mohan Bhagwat on Sunday. But he did not comment on the reported meeting or his possible candidacy
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi entrusted me responsibility for the care of the Ministry of Agriculture and the care of farmers and the development of rural areas. At the moment, agriculture is in every pore of my body and breath farmers. Mediaperons questions.
“I have never thought about it, nor has I told me. I can not even think about it. I am the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development. I do this work as worship. The serving farmers is for me to worship God and I want to continue this worship,” said Mr. Chouhan.
Former Chief Minister Madhya Pradesh was in Gwalior on the second day of research workers meeting throughout India and took place in Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya from 25 to 27 August.
The name of Mr. Chouhan, a prominent leader of the Civil Code and the longest main Minister Madhya Pradesh, was often supported by the best boss for the post of another bJP boss. The current Party President, the Minister of the Union JP Nadda, has been extended since his tenure formally ended at the beginning of 2024.
The appointment of another party president has long been delayed with reports that from time to time attribute the delay of the lack of consensus between the leadership of BJP and its ideological parent, RSS.
