Reddit has recently shared a funny but cordial incident to which much can relate to. During a call with an important client, the user accidentally ended the conversation with the words: “I love you!”
It’s something normally says for close friends or family. This time, however, the person on the other side of the conversation was a client.
A moment followed the sound of the client’s giggling before disconnecting the call. The Reddit user felt terrible. It is concerned that it might seem unprofessional or unpleasant.
The next day, however, brought a sweet surprise. The client sent a thoughtful e -mail and gently explained that he did not want to laugh at the user. The client considered it fun, because he himself did the same before.
The client appreciated that such a natural expression of affection was so easily. He even said that the user should be proud to have so much love in life.
“I just wanted to say that I didn’t want to laugh when you accidentally checked out for our call with” Love You. “I just considered it funny because I definitely did it before and I know it will happen,” the client said.
“I’m glad you have enough love in your life, that this answer comes naturally. If it should be proud of it. Have a great weekend!” He added.
What could be a critical moment has turned into something healthy and soothing. Social media user responded to the incident.
The reaction of social media
“It happens more if you work from home, and your wife/partner children hover about about 99% of people think it’s fun/cute or say they did it,” one user wrote.
The poster agreed, “I work from home and the last person I talked to just before him was my husband lol. It was also a long day.”
Another user responded: “It was incredibly kind to break ice and give such encouraging words. This person is obviously very emotionally intelligent.”
