The Ohio Republican governor of Vivek Ramaswama’s governor was alarm on Monday what he called the growing “socialist wave” in the Democratic Party and selected the candidate for the mayor of New York Zohran Mamdani and others as symbols of dangerous political shifts.
“It’s a fork on the road for the future of the Earth,” said Fox & Friends. “And it’s not just one candidate in New York, who represents the socialist wing. You look at the rise (Mayor’s candidate) Fateh in Minneapolis.”
Democratic party face to face “deep crack”
Ramaswamy, 39 years, who failed in the presidential primary president 2024 and is now a clear favorite that Ohio’s Republican Gubernatorial Primary won next year, said he exhibits a “deep crack” in the Democratic Party on the left.
“You see trends coming all over the country,” he said. “There is a deep crack in the democratic side.”
Call to action for Republicans
Ramaswamy urged the Republicans to accelerate the courageous countermeasures to defend capitalism.
“My Council to Republicans all over the country is that it is our chance, that it will actually offer a vision to make, why is a free enterprise, why capitalism, the best system that is known for human history,” he said.
“Wake-up call” for New York
A biotechnology entrepreneur warned that Mamdani’s potential victory as the mayor of New York would have serious consequences for residents that were already struggling with housing and availability.
“I think many people in New York will unfortunately wake up to the effects of socialism,” he said. “The well -intended so -called solutions in the housing crisis actually worsen this very affordable crisis for people who are supposedly trying to help.”
Watch Mamdani
Ramaswamy remained sharply critical of Mamdani after a surprising primary victory in New York in June, which catapulted him into the status of the frontrunner in the city’s concept.
“I don’t want to see the game in the next 10 years,” said Ramaswamy, referring to Mamdani’s proposed economic policy. “I think the Republicans play an important role.”
