“What I feel is that rather than just changing your lifestyle with money, you can change someone else’s life – that’s more powerful.”The 34-year-old spinner shared the story of buying an expensive watch.“I feel so guilty that if I spend that much, if I have a watch worth 30 million rupees or 40 million rupees, that amount of money can actually change someone’s life for two or three generations.

Do you believe that expensive luxury items can cause guilt among middle-class individuals?
“The one watch I bought, for three million or so, in itself killed me from the inside. I know there are people who buy more expensive things.“You see, the guys I grew up with, some of them still deliver food and do all that stuff. I can’t even imagine wearing something like that and going out to meet them. I just feel like I’m disrespecting them. That’s my business; I don’t judge anybody else.”
