The Malaysian Dr. Wong Lu Yang got under fire after the video sent online and accused him of unfaithfulness with his wife in his BMW. August 27 released Wong video on Facebook, which expresses regret and shame, especially against his wife.
“I want to publicly apologize to my wife for hurting her,” he said, adding that he had admitted his mistake, looking for forgiveness, and was grateful that she allowed him home. “I am grateful to my wife for accepting me again,” Wong added.
Blackmail
At the beginning of the same day, Wong published in another Facebook post that his family was focused on blackmail attempts before the video became public. He said they refused to give up the requirements, which later caused his wife more pain when the scandal emerged.
“I was sorry to hurt my wife for the second time when the accusation was published, which made me feel pain and regret,” he wrote, explaining that they expected this situation a few months earlier.

Police Complaints for Abuse Online
Wong also confirmed that he had reported an online harassment report. “I would like to inform the public that I was threatened with my family and subjected to cyberbullying on social media. False and harmful content, including my face, my family, friends and organizations, with which I, like my phone number, were shared without my consent,” he said.
He stressed that he would consider legal steps against those who spread the slander content or abuse his personal data under Malaysian law. “I sincerely apologize to the public for the attention and concerns that this question caused. This is a personal matter and has no relation to any organizations, associations, friends or family members,” he added.
NGOs will enter
According to Mothership, Wong was suspended from his post as president of a group of youth leaders JCI Kot Bhar. The NGO said that the immediate past President Tan Zhi Qian would temporarily take over. “We want to emphasize that this is a personal affair concerning the current president and has no connection with the mission or work of JCI Kot Bhar,” the organization said.
