The Hyderabad Disaster Response & Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) on Saturday removed several buildings that were blocking the public road.
A 50-feet-wide road in Arvind enclave of Medchal-Malkajgiri district was blocked by the construction of a wall by a local resident, after which construction on the other side began. Despite the complaints, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation reportedly did not respond. Local people who approached HYDRAA through the Praja Vani program complained that due to the wall, colony residents are forced to take a one kilometer detour to reach the main road. which is otherwise only 100 meters away. The problem persisted for 15 years before HYDRAA solved it. After a ground-level inspection, HYDRAA chief AVRanganath directed the officials to remove the obstructions.
