The Agency for Reaction to Disaster in Hyderabad (Hydraa) removed interventions in government land and regenerated assets worth hundreds of Crores Rupees in the areas of hafeezpet and raidurgam. The operation revealed illegal construction activities, including the establishment of residential complexes and unauthorized commercial development on the initial government soil.
Operation focused on survey number 79 in Hafeezpet, located in Serlingamply, Kondapur, where Vasanta Homes Company has already illegally developed more than 19 hectares. The company missed the authorities by creating a false survey number 79/1 and carried out construction work on this country, which is registered in the records of income as “forbidden”. Despite the waiting case at the Supreme Court, the company continued to build and sell houses on the ground, built a commercial office and several shelters for the remaining 20 hectares that were rented to various organizations.
Hydraa officials dismantled illegal structures and removed the fencing that were affected by the Encroachers, and built plates referring to land as government property. This action came after the Supreme Court expressed concern about the continuing construction, despite the lack of final decrees in this case and questioned how the work could proceed in violation of the court orders.
Narnely Estates raidurgam
The second operation was performed in Raidurgam after a complaint of local youth, which stated that he and other cricket players were denied access to their usual playground. Encroachers started building roads and damage the nearby pond. Hydraa Investigations revealed that a private company Narne Estates, a private company, placed advertising land for sale, and falsely demanded ownership of the area. According to Hydraa official, encroachers were also found to build unauthorized layouts and sales lands, including land hit by a pond.
In both cases, the agency filed a police complaint. Further investigations are underway.
