The Hyderabad Traffic Police announced a series of traffic restrictions, diversions and enforcement measures across the city on the night of December 31 in view of plans for large New Year celebrations, especially around major public gathering places and entertainment hubs.

Vehicular traffic, including private and public transport, will not be allowed on NTR Marg, PVNR Marg and Tank Bund between 11 pm and 2 am in the night between December 31 and January 1. Several diversions will also be put in place around Hussain Sagar to regulate traffic and avoid congestion.
