Hyderabad has more than 200 altitude buildings and another 250 such structures, towering 100 meters and above the height, are in various stages of construction, said Minister of Industry D. Sridhar Babu on Friday.
The Minister, who launched a two -day National Conference of the Association of Consulting Civil Engineers (Hyderabad Center), said this and emphasized the importance of the responsible and ecologically conscious approach to the construction in the middle of the city vertical expansion in all capitals in the country.

The building sector in Telangana recorded an impressive 11.97% growth in 2024–25, which contributes more than Rs. 80 000 crore for the state economy, which represents 24.9% of gross value added in the service sector.
Ecological building practices represent viable solutions for pressing global challenges of climate change, urbanization, pollution and growing carbon emissions. He emphasized the strategic focus of the TELANGANY government in this direction and called on building engineers to actively participate in this transformation route, the release of the Minister said.
