
The Hyderabad Municipal Police are preparing to auction a stunning 1,783 abandoned or unsolicited vehicles that remained in various places throughout the city.
The decision is followed by years of accumulation of such vehicles, from two rounds to possible cars and carriers of goods, located without applicants. Those who believe that they have ownership or legal interest in one of these vehicles were asked to come within six months of this notice. The claims must be submitted to the Police Commissioner in the integrated command and control center (ICCC), Banjara Hills. If it fails, the vehicles will be auctioned to the highest candidate.
Details of vehicles that are designed for auction can be viewed at the SAR CPL police areas, as a police hospital in Amberpet, as well as on the official website of the Hyderabad Municipal Police: www.hyderabadpolice.gov.in.
Officials said the auction is part of a routine cleaning unit aimed at cleaning up police stations and storage spaces that have long been clogged with unsolicited vehicles, some of which have gather dust for years.
