The Medipally Police arrested a 27 -year -old man for the murder of her five -month -old pregnant wife, chopped her body into pieces, and his part had to throw him into the river in the village of Prathapsingaram.
The accused, identified as Mahender Reddy, works as a bike rider and lives on East Balaji Hills in Boduppal and is originally from Vicrabad.
20 January 2024 married B. Swathi, 21 January 2024 in Arya Samai in Kukatpally. After their marriage, the couple moved to Hyderabad and lived in Boduppal, DCP Malkajgiri, PV Padmaja said.
Reportedly they lived peacefully about a month before the start of frequent quarrels.
“On 22 April last year, Swathi filed a complaint at the Vkarabad police station, after which the case was registered under section 498-A IPC and Section 4 of the Act on the Prohibition.
Swathi worked for three months at a call center in Punjagutta, but Mahender stopped her in continuing his work after expressing suspicion of her movement. “She was five months after her pregnancy in August, but the quarrels between these two continued. 22. August reported Mahender to go to Vicrabad 27. August for medical control and then remained in her parents’ house.
To make his plan, he bought an ax in Boduppal and kept it in the house. August 23, around 16:30, strangled Swathi to death in their residence. Then he chopped the body into pieces and destroyed parts in the river in Prathapsingaram. Kept the torso in the house. Medipally police arrested him and returned him to his judicial custody.
