Jio is one of the largest telecom operators in India. It offers a variety of plans for prepaid and postpaid users. You can easily get Jio SIM and activate your phone number to get started with its services. Jio not only provides a physical SIM card, but also provides an ESIM or embedded subscriber identity module for smartphones that support it. ESIM allows smartphone manufacturers to save space in their devices, allowing other useful features to be added. It also makes any task that needs to be removed from physical simulations obsolete, as the operator can make changes remotely.
As of now, only Apple, Samsung, Google and Motorola and Jio have ESIM capabilities. When activating ESIM, several steps are involved, as it is not as straightforward as it activates physical simulations. The steps vary between manufacturers, so we have summarized a step-by-step guide on how to activate Jio Esim with any of the four manufacturers. First, you will have to visit the nearest Jio store, Reliance Digital, or Jio retailer to request a new SIM card.
