After India’s narrow win, Suryakumar revealed that he was nervous during the second innings and even had a light chat with Harry Brook during the chase, asking him how many runs England needed to score against his side.
“Oh my God, I just said to Harry, how many more do we need to score against you? But at the end of the day it was a good wicket and the way they batted was outstanding. I don’t want to take any credit away from them. I think they were always in the game and always in the chase, but the way Jasprit Bumrah, Arshdeep Singh and everybody said the other players were unbelievable, I think they are unbelievable.” Suryakumar in the post-match presentation.
