State President BJP and Trade Union Minister Coal & Mines G. Kishan Reddy on Thursday demanded the leader of Majlis Assaddin Owaisi and the leader of the congress to reveal how many poor Muslims have been beneficial over the past 75 years.
When he was dealing with a preparatory meeting held in the State Office for the adoption of a proposed minority contact program throughout the state to explain the “benefits” of the New Waqf Act, he claimed that the leaders of Congress and Majlis use the WAQF land for “maintaining and strengthening” their political sponsorship.
According to the WAQF Council, there are 77,000 acres and 35,000 properties in Telangana, he said, and he wanted Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Mr. Owaisi to provide details of the income and how many poor Muslims were provided.
The duo stimulates the Muslim community for the “voting banking policy” and “usurp” the properties of the WAQF Board of Directors by performing a misinformation campaign against the new WAQF law, caused by the government of Modi, said.
The WAQF advice has 4.9 lamp acres under their jurisdiction across the country, but the total income was only 166 Crore in 2013. The Center estimates that 12,000 crores could be generated every year by digitizing records, the right audit and geo-tag for proper maintenance, BJP said.
Mr. Reddy claimed that hundreds of community halls were built with false names and revenues got into the pockets of political and religious leaders, but not ordinary Muslims. How these real estate prices were hit by the roof, but the income of the WAQF advice stagnates, thought and said that Masjids do not fall under the law of WAQF, similarly the temple committees differ from endowing land.
The Minister of the Union claimed that the vast majority of the Muslim community welcomes the new WAQF law, but opposition parties are trying to ignite a clash between the two religions.
G. Manohar Reddy and others were present.
