Ryan Rickelton gives update on Hardik Pandya, praises Rohit SharmaGanesh headed to X to question the team leadership and Axar’s decision. He pointed out the absence of players like Prithvi Shaw, Abishek Porel and David Miller from the playing XI. He also questioned whether the team is functioning properly given the decisions taken.“There is so much Indian batting talent available in the Delhi camp. They can so easily open Shaw/Rana/Porel along with KL and have Miller in the middle order. Instead the geniuses play Nissanko at the top and drop Miller. Tell me how this can be a serious cricket team?” Ganesh wrote on X.Delhi’s problems started early when opener Pathum Nissanka was dismissed for 19 off 15 balls when he failed to clear the mid-wicket off a slower ball from Mukesh Choudhary.KL Rahul scored 12 off 13 balls before getting out when he tried to play a shot to Akeal Hosein but was caught by Chennai skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad.Delhi reached 37 for two in the powerplay, with Hosein playing several overs, including the one that got Rahul out.Axar Patel was dismissed soon after and gave a catch to cover fielder Gurjapneet Singh, leaving the team at 69 for five.Stubbs and Rizvi then hit a couple of sixes during their partnership, but an early collapse meant Delhi ended with 155 for seven, which proved insufficient.CSK chased down the target in just 17.3 overs and won the match comfortably by 8 wickets.
