The house collapsed on Friday due to heavy rains in Belagavi. But no one was injured because the residents left the house well in advance.
Kishan Shahapurkar and his family members left the house a few days ago and lived in a relative’s house. He noticed that the house was in a dilapidated condition and left.
Two -wheel and automatic rickshaw were also damaged. The rainfall retreated to the evening.
The release of water from the Maharashtra increased by approximately 5% to 91,892 CUSECS. The tide to the LAL BAHADUR SHASTRI in Krišno in Almatti increased to approximately 94,767 cusecs and the drain was around 10,0670 CUSECS. The dam now has 87.6 TMCFT or 71.1% of the total storage.
Hlara Hippargi had a tide and drain at 9,4212 Cusecs. No storage was done.
Reservoir Raja Lakhamagouda at Ghataprabha in Hidkal had about 35.1 TMCft water against a total of 51 TMCFT. The tide was around 2,3287 CUSECS and the drain was at 1,453 cuses.
