The 34 -year -old hotelier was arrested by the elite action group for drug recovery (ELITE) and the Cyberabad police for allegedly related to Nigerian suppliers, courier services and top pubs operating outside Hyderabad.
The accused was identified as Surya Annameni, Resident of the comprehensive. The police said Surya, which holds titles in B.Tech and MBA in front of renowned institutions, was captured near his Mallnad Kitchen restaurant. The search for his vehicle led to the discovery of 10 grams of cocaine, 3.2 grams of Og Kush (Ganja) and 1.6 grams of ecstasy tablets. The police also found that cocaine had hidden the compartment of the female slipper, wrapped in a pink box and a courier from a new Delhi under a false name of the sender.
During the interrogation of Surya revealed that its involvement in drug consumption escalated to full distribution between 2021 and 2025. The primary suppliers of Surya include Indian contacts such as Harsha Himayatnagar, Sandeep Juvadi of Karimnagar, and Palalepka Mohan of Khajagud, as Nigian mass network Delhovská drug, and the Drug Drug, and the Drug Drug, and produced from the Nigerian camouflage meat, and the broadcasting network of 19, and resistant to the network, and subjugating from Nigerian meat, and Nigerian Drug Foundation, and produce a network. Transaction of 1.39 GBP Lakh and 41,000 GBP via ATM were monitored. In return, cocaine and MDMA were sent via Courier Services, hidden in homes. The drugs were then stored in the Surya’s Auto or Restaurant for further supply to consumers.
The accusations have gained cocaine more than 20 times and regularly consumed it in UPSCale pubs in the city, including Prism Pub, Farm Pub, Bird Box, Block 22, Broadway, Xora and Quake Arena. Some of these places are now under control for allegedly allow hidden drug uses in their premises. Surya also told several trips to Goa and one to Delhi, where he met Nigerian suppliers, including Dezmond and Stanley and Prince, and personally gathered drugs.
The accused allegedly dealt with a wide circle of clients, the names of professionals, technicians of technology, visitors in the gym, doctors and even individuals associated with pub management. Nargotics recovered from his car were sealed and documented according to legal procedures in the presence of mediators and traces.
The case was reserved according to various parts of the Act on Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) and Surya was taken into judicial custody.
Officials said that the investigation will now focus on tracking the tracks of money, analyzing courier and digital networks, and exploring the role of pubs and commercial devices in facilitating drug distribution.
