A hot yoga instructor in the US was released after he rebuked the student on drinking water during the session. Roma Abdessel, a 29 -year -old influencer, shared an incident on social media and explained that she had attended a class in a BODE studio in New York when she felt thirsty and tried to sip water.
When she broke her pose of yoga and reached for a bottle of water, an instructor, identified only as Irena, hit. According to Abdessel, Irena chose her publicly and cursed her in front of the whole class.
“Is that normal?” Abdesslam asked in the video and added, “I was in the classroom and went to go from my pad and the instructor injected me water and drink water when I want you to drink water.” ”
Lobo Plamondon confirmed that the instructor is no longer employed in the studio. While Abdesselam did not explicitly look for the teacher’s release, it remains unconvincing by the explanation of the instructor.
“Just because it is always, as something has happened does not mean that it must continue,” she said.
The founder of Bode NYC only Lobo Plamondon responded to the video and said that the instructor was no longer working with them, because their behavior did not compare with the standards of study.
In response to the accusation, Iren explained that she had not forbid Abdesselam drinking water, but only asked to “try to refrain” until the specified time.
“I thought it was innocent,” The New York Times said. “It was my invitation, not an order, no royal command.”
“You see in this new era, young people have very difficult times to be told,” she added.
Especially in Bikram’s yoga – commonly known as hot yoga – instructors discourage students from drinking water until the eagle reaches the position, usually about 30 minutes into a session. Purists claim that drinking too soon disrupts the internal heat regulation and reduces body temperature, potentially reduces flexibility and causes discomfort or nausea.
