Minister Telangany for Health C. Damodar Raja Narasimha ordered officials to take strict steps against private hospitals and perform undesirable imperial supplies. The Minister emphasized the need to reduce unnecessary section C and called for stricter audits and renewed pressure to support conventional supplies.
At the inspection meeting held on Thursday, the Minister said that awareness of the benefits of natural birth and the risks associated with the imperial procedures must be shared with pregnant women and their families from the early stages of prenatal care. In order to increase the number of common supplies, he also proposed training of birth assistance for nurses working in government medical facilities.
The Minister emphasized the need to strengthen the infrastructure in centers for health care for mother and children and urged officials to create conditions that encourage women to decide to deliver in government hospitals.
The Minister also asked about the ongoing recruitment process in government hospitals. Officials informed him that last year more than 8,000 jobs were occupied and more than 6,200 other contributions are currently being completed.
