Given that today’s infertility affects almost one of the six pairs, a significant increase compared to the previous estimate of one of ten, the Hospital Mysur Hospital increases efforts to raise awareness of innovative reproductive technology called “Embryo association”.
The hospital claimed that this technique offers hope that couples are fighting conception, especially younger patients with low ovarian reserves, said Vishwanath Adapa, director and consultant, reproductive medicine (IVF).
Dr. Adapa told reporters at a press conference here about growing concerns about infertility and innovative reproductive techniques such as “embryo association”. “Infertility is no longer just concerned about older women. Now we see patients aged 30 and represent low ovarian reserves, a scenario that was once considered rare. Environmental factors, endocrine disruptions, lifestyle changes, genetics – any or all of them could contribute to this trend,” she said.
“The association of embryos is designed to maximize the chances of conception in patients with low egg reserve. Unlike the conventional IVF, which relies on a single cycle,” embryo association “involves collecting eggs and creating embryos in several IVF cycles. Pregnancy, ”the hospital said in a press release.
This technique is beneficial for younger patients who, despite their age, have reduced egg reserve, Dr. Adapa.
Dr. Adapa argued that there were more pairs in patients who decided to associate embryos to gain more couples to gain their dream of parenting.
Ubendra Shenoy, head of medical services, manipal hospital was present.
