Ladakh Lieutenant-Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena on Sunday (April 26, 2026) ended the impasse after the much-awaited talks between Ladakh and the Center and announced the resumption of talks at the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) level with civil society bodies, the Leh Apex Body and Kargil, announcing the Democratic Alliance for Governance in Kargil (Amit2). Shah’s two-day visit to Ladakh.
“I am pleased to announce that the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India has taken a decision to convene a meeting of the Sub-Committee on Political Dialogue on May 22,” LG Saxena said.
