
Hockey coach Pratima Barw, who modified a number of international players, including the Indian female hockey team of Captain Salima Tete, died on Sunday on Sunday, the officials said.
Pratima not only mentor Tete, but a number of international players from Jharkand, including the beauty of Dungdung and Sangita Kumari.
She died in a private hospital in Ranch, where she was accepted after a paralytic attack and was to support the fan at the time of her browsing.
Jharkhanda Chief Minister Hemant Soren, who expressed deep sadness over her demise, published on X, “the premature extinction of hockey coach Pratim Barw, who raised several talented international players from Jharkand and the country, is extremely sad.
“May Marang Buru (the highest tribal deity) gives her soul peace and gives strength to the surviving family,” he added.
The General Secretary of the Hockey Hockey Bhola Nath Singh also mourned her loss and said: “This is not just the passage of the coach, but the end of the era in the hockey heritage of Jharkand. Her contribution to the game, especially through players like Salima Tete and many others, is immense.”
The echo -like sentiments, Secretary General of Hockey Jharkhand Vijay Shankar Singh said, “The players mentorized Barwa brought immense pride to the nation. Her contribution to Sport in Jharkhand was truly transformative.”
Barwa worked as the head coach in the residential hockey training center in Khunti and worked extensively in Simdeg and played a decisive role in the establishment of Jharkand as a prominent center for Indian hockey development.
Her browsing caused a wave of sadness through the sporting fraternity, both in Jharkand and throughout India.
