
The tension clasped the complex of the District Court in Vanchiyoor and the court complex in Attingal after bombing threats that were reported on Tuesday afternoon. However, the threats were later confirmed as fraud.
According to official sources, the threat was received through. E -mail around 13:30 at the official e -mail address of both court complexes. The report “ordered” the authorities to evacuate the premises until 15:30 and warned that the explosives would then be detonated. E -mail apparently referred to “some matters concerning (Secretary -General AIADMK) Edapadi K. Palaniswami.”
Soon dog units K-9 and detection and liquidation units were rushed to both court complexes. The court proceedings were temporarily disrupted, while those present in the complexes were briefly evacuated when preventive checks were carried out. No explosives were found during search operations. The police started the investigation to monitor the origin of the threats.
This incident comes only a month after a similar bomb on the Thiruvananthapuram collector, which also proved to be a scam. The incident, however, bizarre turning when swarms of honey bebees attacked people who gathered in this area after the units accidentally disrupted the hives during their inspection.
Before the incident, several hotels in the city also received fake bomb threats.
