The interface of artificial intelligence that helps manage and solve consumers complaints is a new feature for better providing Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply & Severage Board (HmWS & SB).
The Board recently analyzed all complaints from last year, which she received at the customer care number and arrived forward. He found most complaints based on the nature of the area from which they are reported, and often registered complaints. A similar exercise was carried out with reservations of water tankers.
“Pragathi Nagar in Focus”
Since September 1, a total of about 6.50 Lakh various complaints were adopted and more than 12 lakh water tankers were booked according to the Board of Directors. Although it also showed the 10 best consumers of water tankers in the city, surprising findings were one housing complex in Pragathi Nagar, who booked 674 water tankers last year.
As higher officials from the Council, they performed field visits to the area, the problems of poor drinking water supply emerged. The Pragathi Nagar, located at a higher altitude, also has a rocky terrain, which makes drilling difficult. The locality is reported to have more than 100 home complexes and have poor capacity.
Hmws & SB CEO K. Ashok Reddy, who checked Pragathi Nagar and spoke to the inhabitants, also examined the proposals for a separate feeder for the locality. With an estimated 3 GBP Crore, work for a separate feeder was approved and will soon start.
Mr. Reddy also ordered officials to explore and take the injection as a project in housing complexes, where it is possible, so the dependence on water tankers would gradually decrease with a better source of groundwater. The Council would provide technical assistance in the establishment of injection doors in these residential complexes.
