
India Rohan Bopanna Skripted History After becoming the oldest player who won the match at the ATP Masters 1000. At the age of 45, Bopanna created a record in Monte Carlo Masters 2025 and Ben Shelton partnership of the United States. On Sunday, April 6 Bopanna and Shelton defeated Francisco Cerundolo and Alejandro Tabilo 6-3, 7-5.

The record was previously held by Canadian Daniel Nestor, who won the match in Madrid Masters in 2017 at the age of 44 and 8 months. Nestor and France Fabric Martin defeated Bopanna and Pablo Cuevas 6-3, 6-2 in round 32.
Shelton and Bopanna, a few no.14 in the ATP ranking, took 71 minutes to win their match against Cerundolo and Tabilo after breaking the opponent’s portion three times.
Rohan Bopanna is trying to podium comeback
After the Open Qatar, where he played in the neighborhoods with Nuno Borges, Bopanna failed to go into the second round of Dubai tennis championships, Indian Wells Masters and Miami Open when stuttering in both men’s and mixed doubles.
