New Delhi: Five-year-old Aarini Lahots carved her name in Indian chess history by becoming the youngest player of the country to gain FIDE rating in all three formats-classic, fast and blitz.The girl from Delhi now holds a rating of 1553 in the classic, 1550 in Rapid and 1498 in Blitz and became the first chess player from India in 2019.“We prepared it at home. We did her play tournaments in all formats, tried to get used to the same time patterns and only then sent her to official tournaments.Aarini, born on September 19, 2019, has already become the Indian highest player in her age group in August, across boys and girls, among those born after 2019.
