The AI Agriculture application, developed by the last year of B.Tech students Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science (Hits), won the creators of the first prize in the Infosys Global Hackathon-Tech for Good 2025, which recently held in Hyderabad.
The application offers recommendations for intelligent crops, plant disease diagnostics through AI, satellite agricultural knowledge and access with voice in regional languages. All students of artificial intelligence and data science were developed by Jyoti Prakash Beher, Madhan S., Manish M., Samyukth S. and Deepik Samad and encouraging sustainable agricultural practices, the press release said. It is also in line with the aim of 2 – zero hunger.
After more regional bikes, the team competed with 33 teams from all over India in the Great Final. The first price also had a cash award of £ 5. Ashok George Verghese, for Chancellor, Hits, congratulated the winners.
