
Senior officials from five key departments including Cyberabad Municipal Corporation, Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board, Traffic Police, Irrigation Department and TSIIC conducted a joint inspection of key stretches in Madhapur on Saturday. The teams reviewed bottlenecks and discussed coordinated measures to streamline vehicle movement.
During the visit, officials inspected road widening works from Lemon Tree Hotel to Cyber Towers and from Cyber Towers to Medicover Junction, both of which were identified as major bottlenecks during peak hours. The current road widening works on the Lemon Tree to Trident Hotel stretch on the busy Hi-Tec City road were also reviewed. The team later inspected Durgam Cheruva and Nectar Garden.
Officials examined the existing roadway width, identified obstructions, reviewed utility obstructions and assessed the feasibility of widening at critical bottlenecks. Detailed discussions were held on coordinated movement of utilities, removal of obstructions and synchronized execution of works to minimize inconvenience to commuters.
Cyberabad Municipal Corporation Commissioner G. Srijana, HMWS&SB Executive Director K. Ashok Reddy, Serilingampally Zonal Area Commissioner Bhorkhade Hemant Sahadeorao, TSIIC Zonal Manager M. Kavitha, DCP Traffic-I Ranjan Ratan Kumar, ADCP Hanumantha Rao, Reddy and other personnel participated in the joint traffic control, ACP Chandrashekhar associates.
The officials directed the contractors to speed up the ongoing road widening work and complete it within the stipulated dates. Officials noted that once completed, the measures are expected to significantly ease the IT corridor, enhance commuter safety and support growing infrastructure demands in the region.
