“Given that English is a vital tool for success in academic institutions and professional fields, the initiative is launched to encourage students to learn and manage the language so that they can climb a ladder of success in life,” he said. As part of the social responsibility (SCR), the university accepted four Mandal Parisad and two schools Zilla Parisad in Inavol, Sakhamur, Velagapudi and Mandadam Mandals in the Guntur district.
The vice -chairman said that the initiative to support the development of English among government school students could focus on improving understanding and acquiring knowledge. This could include the implementation of programs that emphasize the skills of basic literacy.
He said that Vit-AP University was actively involved in rural students who helped them improve their skills. He said that reading competitions and other activities will be performed regularly for students. He invited students to visit a university that was equipped with modern facilities and laboratories. He said that to support the development of rural students, the institution was sponsored by Toppers (One Boy and One Girl) from each of the 26 districts throughout the state who devoted themselves to the middle course at the government junior university.
As part of the initiative, the Faculty of Vit-AP will also grant students who will also receive copies of the Hindu magazine School Weekend Magazine and Young World Magazine.
The registrar M. Jagadeesh Chandra said that students should be proud of their mother tongue, but also give the importance of other languages to help them effectively communicate with different segments of people. He said that English is widely considered to be a valuable language for achieving life goals due to its global prevalence in communication and education, opening doors for increased career opportunities and cultural understanding.
The Mandal Education Officer M. Lakshminarayana recommended students to read the Hindus at school and the young world to improve their vocabulary and expand their horizons.
