Hindu former photographer and veteran photojournalist Ch. Vs Vijayabhaskar Rao was awarded the prestigious Honorary Community of the Federation of Indian Photography (Hon. FIP), which makes him a proud moment not only for the journalistic community, but also for people talking Teluga.
This rare recognition is awarded every year only to one individual, based on exceptional lifelong contributions to the photo area. Mr. Vijayabhaskar, with ten years of service as a photojournalist and art photographer, has gained this honor through his determination and artistic perfection.
Vijayabhaskar, the main photojournalist Hindu, worked with several publications, including Indian Express, Andhra Prabha, Deccan Chronicle and Andhra Bhoomi. Even after retirement, he continues to fulfill photojournalism with passion.
He currently works as the president of the Association of Photojournalists Andr Pradesh and is also a visiting member of the Faculty at Acharya Nagarjun University. As an explorer of photography, the wilderness traveled around India and even to Kenya to documented nature.
His photograph of “Thirsty” was shown in the 150 souvenir. The anniversary of the Royal Photographic Society in London. He also won the UNESCO award twice and worked as a judge in many photographic competitions around the world.
