
A tourist from Gujarat, who suffered a big accident on Sunday, while paragliding in Himachal Pradesh succumbed to his injuries on Sunday, the police said on Monday.
The deceased, who was identified as Satish (27), suffered serious injuries when his paraglider collapsed near Dharamshala in the Kangramhala district.
Satish took off from Indra Nag Paragliding, located in the suburbs of the city, on Sunday in a tandem flight with a pilot Paraglider Suuraj. After flying for a short distance, the paraglider crashed.

The deceased suffered serious injuries in this accident and was brought to the Zonal Dharamshala Hospital and later referred to the Medical College, where he died on Monday, the police said.
Pilot Suraj is still in the hospital undergoing treatment.
Family members of the deceased were informed about the incident and the body will be handed over after postmort, Kangra said another superintendent of the police (SP) Hitesh Lakhanpal.
